October Coffee Break

A few snaps from the last coffee morning at Koast Cafe, Mooloolaba. There was a good turn out and plenty of interest in our special guests for the day.

Lorraine (below) from Photo Mounts and Albums managed to squeeze in a display between the coffee cups and cake and was available to answer any questions about the products.

Deborah Groves from Helping Hands gave a rousing talk about her Photographic and Aid work in Cambodia.

The coffee breaks are held on the first Tuesday of each month and are open to all Professional Photographers. If you'd like to be on the mailing list for reminders and to find out the latest location, just leave a comment below. If you have any feedback or suggestions, I'd love to hear those in the comments too.

Next month: Tuesday November 3rd at One on LaBalsa 9 - 11am. Yes, it's Melbourne Cup Day. Who wants to organise a sweep?

Cheers
Debbie

Photographer's Coffe Break

Sunshine Coast Professional Photographers' Coffee Break
Our next morning tea is just around the corner and they keep getting bigger and better. This month we have a special guest and a product display.
Deborah Groves was the organiser of morning tea's when she was a local wedding photographer based in Caloundra. In recent years she has moved to Cambodia, started her own NGO to assist a small local village outside Siem Reap and supports herself with a very successful commercial photography venture. Come along and see and hear some of what works for Deborah.

Lorraine from Photo Mounts and Albums will be displaying their latest products and she will be available throughout the morning to answer any questions. If you can't make it for the whole morning,
pop in for 10 minutes and say G'day and have a look at the display.

Coffee Break

The gloomy weather didn't dampen the spirits of Sunshine Coast Professional Photographers attending the July morning tea. Of the 20 or so photographers in attendance, Hing was the only one to have a camera available to take a couple of snaps. Thanks Hing! We had a good cross-section of Event, Commercial, Wedding and Portrait photographers turn up to network, chat, share, meet new people, compare equipment and suppliers and discuss the pros and cons of selling the files. Actually, I don't know what they all talked about as I had to leave early for a job.

Cheers and hope to see you at the next one.
Debbie

Future of Photography - Change of Venue

Response to the Future of Photography meeting has been overwhelming,
so much so that we have had to move to a bigger venue to accommodate the
numbers.

The new venue is Lecture Room 3 at Sunshine Coast University, Sippy
Downs Drive, Sippy Downs.

The time has been changed to 6.00pm for a definite 6.30pm
start.

The catering has changed slightly, at the end of the presentation we
will be offering a light meal of finger food and 2 complimentary drinks
with a choice of wine, beer or soft drink.

If you're coming, please send Ross a reply to confirm you have received the change
of address notice. Ph 54456855 or email ross@eason.com.au

$30.00 Pay at the door.
